Independent School Education Programming
Sewatua Reworld Institute educational programs works primarily with independent schools through membership, network building, institutional partnerships and immersive learning experiences. All programs are based on sliding scale independent school structures and systems. The programs are offered in workshops, institutes, and cohorts.
Cohorts
We, in partnership with our hosts, meticulously curate an in-depth approach to right relations for independent K-12, global and experiential educators, program directors, and schools heads through 6-day, and occasional 9-day in-person programs. These are rare and one of a kind experiences situated in-place, on Land, and directly with Native and Indigenous community knowledge holders, educators, professionals, and beyond. The hybrid cohort program is delivered over the course of 10-months. Each cohort is designed to support participants with their professional peers, such as school heads with school heads. We highly recommend early enrollment for these once in a lifetime opportunities. Tribal communities are self-determined—they decide how an when to generously open their doors to us, and we deeply honor and respect their decisions with gratitude and humility.
Public School Professional Development
In service of a broader school system and student impact, our Institute may offer select professional learning opportunities for public school educators and schools. These are offered independently of the Institute membership and network, and are designed around the particular conditions of public education—the sliding scale enrollment reflects one aspect of those conditions. The programs are offered in workshops and institutes. We also work with school districts through our institutional partnerships, and bespoke professional development opportunities within these capacities.
