Overview: ReLearning Right Relations

Cohort Program Relational Economic Model

Sewatua ReWorld Institute for Indigenous Land Literacies ReLearning Right Relations Cohort Program partners with schools, organizations, and professional associations to expand their capacity to be in right relations with Indigenous lands, peoples, and place.
We do this through multiple pathways—the cohort pathway
expressly functions through relational economies.

Thus, ReLearning Right Relations Cohort Program centers on the economic model of relational economies in reciprocity, along with culturally relevant reciprocal practices as expressly agreed upon and within each context. In practice, this means that enrollment and participation fees are redistributed among all who contribute to making the ReLearning Right Relations program possible by sharing their extensive knowledge and wisdom, and the sharing of teachings and experiences that uniquely shape this rare opportunity for deep learning and transformational journey.

What We Offer

Grounded Thinking & Doing

Our work is grounded in a relational approach to learning rooted in Indigenous practices of right relations with land and all living human and beyond human beings.

We begin with land—and understand that all learning, responsibility, and practice emerge from these relationships. Learning unfolds through our responsibilities to land, peoples, and the more-than-human world.

We support educators in cultivating pedagogies and methodologies that are accountable, reciprocal, and generative of shared futures.

We support professionals & businesses in strategizing better ways of doing business by implementing practices for right relations on Native Land.
